About

Tess Wouda Kuipers (1961) grew up in the province of Friesland (in the north of the Netherlands), studied international law in Leiden and worked for years as a diplomat in The Hague and in various locations abroad. The experience she gained is many-sided: as a lawyer, policy maker and promotor of the Dutch business sector, and as protocol expert. She was also staff and management consultant as well as coach. She has a good command of languages and speaks German, English and French (and Frisian).

Not only did she work abroad as a diplomat herself, as the spouse of an ambassador in Brussels and Berlin she was actively involved in organising and executing many breakfasts, lunches, receptions, dinners and royal visits. She is regularly invited to appear on Dutch radio and TV.
